Photo Cheat Sheet!

This is a Check List or "Cheat Sheet" for putting photos into your web pages. For the more detailed explaination check out: Photos 101!)

Step 1 ~ Get Code

Get Your Image Tag, at friendster it's called a:

Photo Embed Code:

My Code says this:

Step 2 ~ Get the <img> Tag

Friendster gave me this code:

<a href="http://www.friendster.com/photos/36141351/0/357718849"> <img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849m.jpg" border="0"/></a>

But all I needed was the <img> Tag, like this:

<img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849m.jpg" border="0"/>

Step 3 ~ Go Large!

"M" is for Mini! Get rid of it!

Change this:

<img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849m.jpg" border="0"/>

To this:

<img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849.jpg" border="0"/>

Step 4 ~ Make it fit!

Just add width="100%"

Change this:

<img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849.jpg" border="0"/>

To this:

<img src="http://photos.friendster.com/photos/15/31/36141351/357718849.jpg" border="0" width="100%" />

Now you can embed your <img> Tag just about anyplace on your web page! Even in this header box

Here is the exact tags I used to make the above... See if you can see the img tag, it is just put inside of a paragraph tag!

Step 5 ~ Resize!

Maybe you don't want your photo to be as big as possible. No problem, instead of width="100%" like we used in Step 4 (above) just use your own percentage!

For example, here is the code to display Puppy's photo at: width="15%"
